Seek happiness every day

If we are not happy today, we will never be happy! Or as an old teacher of mine used to say: "If you are not happy anywhere, you will not be happy anywhere." It took me a few years to figure that one out. But she was right. Be happy today, regardless of circumstances. This doesn't mean that we have to go around laughing all the time. What it means is, be happy within ourselves so that our happiness will shine through us to others, radiating Christ.

Indonesia Bali Trip (Day 2) Part6

5th stop: Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
An interesting history of this sanctuary and Balinese Hinduism
Entrance to the monkey forest
The locals selling banana by the entrance
Lotsa monkeys running around. The monkey here are quite tame.. they dun snatch..guide say becoz there have bundles of bananas from the tourist~ Saw some hilarious and quite scary there.. There was one white American guy trying to take close intimate photos with a small monkey~ their big/old monkey tribe leader suddenly made some furious noise and came running toward him with sharp fangs (very old money.. teeth/fangs very long) .. the angmo guy freak out!! and he shouted FUCK OFF!!! so loud that everyone (including the old monkey) got shocked!!! LOL~
Another buddy enjoying his meal
Monkey Pool~ Their life are good!!!
The temple inside the monkey forest.. u must pay/donate to wear the "SARONG" b4 enter..
The inner temple gate is locked.. in Indian culture they only allow Hindi to enter their sanctuary place~ so all their "tourist attraction" sanctuary hall are mostly locked!! The building is sooo pretty!!! Old and full of stories~
This place used to be a temple + town council.. so ppl do gather here for meetings!! Photo above is a bell~ to call or to gather~ it's locked and the guide say if somehow u manage to ring it.. u will get fined~ =___="
i always think this sculpture doesn't look right.. look like the monster is preparing to eat the child he is holding~ HaHa
Us and our sarong thingy~
The town council hall
Roof made with sugarcane
Green everywhere.. so many moneys so many trees so many sculptures covered in algae
something common abt their traditional sculptures are their characters posses some kind of magical animal/ monster look~ alittle bit of Thai alittle bit of Hindi alittle bit of Malay~
The Wishing Pond!! our wish: the 10million lotto coming this sat!!!
Komodo dragon waterfall.. it's on a cliff~ our guide have stand on one edge to take this photo for us~ They love komodo dragons.. have alot of sculptures on them *even in jakarta airport* they are indo's protected species evolved from dinosaur era~
